ADAS Calibration

After a windshield replacement, many modern vehicles have cameras and sensors that must be re-calibrated for ADAS features to work properly, such as adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, and lane departure warnings. At Odyssey Auto Glass, we are highly trained in ADAS calibration. We can complete re-calibration after your windshield replacement, saving you the inconvenience of scheduling another appointment or taking your vehicle to another servicer.

You've got questions. We've got answers.

How do I know if my windshield can be repaired, or if it needs to be replaced?

A chip or crack doesn’t automatically mean you’ll need a full windshield replacement. Sometimes minor glass damage can be repaired.

When you contact us for a quote, we will ask you questions about your vehicle's glass damage to determine the best, AND SAFEST, solution. These are some of the considerations when determining glass repair vs. replacement:

How large is the damaged area? Large areas of damage generally require a windshield replacement.

Is the damage in one area, or multiple? A windshield with multiple areas of damage will likely need replacement because the structural integrity of the glass has been compromised.  It's simply not safe, even after a repair.

Where is the damage located? The location of the chip or crack in a damaged windshield is very important when determining repair versus replacement. If the damage impacts the driver's view, the windshield will need to be replaced. Also, if the damage is in a corner of the windshield, it will also need to be replaced as it is more likely to spread, and is unsafe.

What if insurance doesn't cover my glass repair?

If you have insurance, we will work with your agent to file a claim and determine what is or isn't covered, and your deductible or expected out-of-pocket costs.

If you don't have insurance, or if it isn't fully covered, we will give you an estimate for the out-of-pocket cost for the repair/replacement so you know exactly what your cost will be.

What if something goes wrong with my windshield after you replace it?

We guarantee our work with a lifetime warranty on workmanship.  If your new windshield leaks, is not secure, or has any other workmanship issues, please reach out to us!  We will make it right!  Your safety and satisfaction are our priority!
